I started knitting three years ago when I went on a relaxing family vacation and my mom thought it might be fun. I knit about three scarfs that week. Considering that I knit pretty much non stop, three scarfs is conceivable.
This past weekend I took a knitting class, as I wanted to get back into it, and I wanted to learn the steps I never did. Only knew how to knit, not purl, or cable or any other techniques.
Right now, I’m working on a simple ribbed scarf. 16 stitched on, and alternating between 2 knit and 2 purl. Just trying to work on speed and changing between knit stitch and purl stitch.
I still have two more lessons left, so hopefully I will learn how to cable and how to read a pattern. I hope to make many wonderful FOs.
